Dr. Danielle West,

MD, CCFP

Physician, Medical Director

Dr. West graduated from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario with her Doctor of Medicine in 2006. She completed a Family Medicine Residency and additional postgraduate training in women’s health.
Since that time Dr. West built a practice encompassing full scope Family Medicine, Obstetrics, Women and Newborn care. Her practice evolved in 2016 to incorporate aesthetic medicine and in 2020 she decided to devote all her focus to her passion of aesthetic and wellness based medicine, opening Dr West Aesthetic Medicine in Burlington , Ontario.

Dr. West’s interest in wellness focused medicine comes from a desire to help people of all backgrounds and ages build their confidence, become healthier, and feel and look more vibrant. Outside of her clinical work you can find Dr West practicing what she talks about all day long and trying to achieve balance in life prioritizing family and wellbeing. This involves incorporating movement into her daily life by walking, hiking, fitness classes, weight lifting & yoga. She loves travel and attending music sporting events with her husband David and children.

Lauren

Laser Tech

Lauren is a certified Medical Laser Technician, graduating with an honours diploma from the International Beauty Institute. Since 2020 Lauren has had a passion for the laser aspect of aesthetics and been specializing in laser tattoo removal using the Candela PicoWay system. She has perfected her expertise in delivering safe, effective, and results-driven treatments.

Dedicated to helping clients feel confident in their skin, Lauren combines skill, professionalism, and a client-centered approach to ensure a comfortable and seamless experience.

Emily

Client Concierge

Emily has been part of Dr West’s team since 2011. As our client concierge, Emily will be with you through your whole journey at Dr West Aesthetic Medicine.
She starts the process by answering questions on the phone and email, booking appointments, greeting you upon arrival at the office, assisting with procedures and educating clients on aftercare requirements and skin care product selection.

When not at the office she enjoys farm life with her husband and is a busy soccer/hockey mom with her 2 children.

Shauna

Medical Aesthetician

Shauna specializes in luxurious skincare experiences that blend innovation with relaxation.

As a certified esthetician and skincare specialist, with 20 years experience, Shauna will be offering a transformative treatments that deeply exfoliates, oxygenates, and nourishes the skin. Paired with advanced skin tightening, soothing cold therapy, facial cupping and LED light therapy, this facial delivers the ultimate in rejuvenation.

Body Specialist

With over 12 years of experience in skincare and body treatments, I’ve had the privilege of working on thousands of bodies—every shape, every stage. My passion lies in helping women leave their appointments feeling confident, empowered, and seen.
As a mom of two beautiful children, Shaina has experienced the changes that come with pregnancy and weight fluctuations and brings both personal understanding and professional expertise to each treatment. She has a trained eye for body balancing and specialize in addressing the most common areas of concern her clients face, including skin texture, volume loss, and muscle tone.
At Dr. West Aesthetic Medicine, I tailor every session with care, insight, and intention, because every body deserves to feel their best.
